Venezia Tee

This newest design is an homage to an incredibly unique club I visited last October. I wasn’t just there for the gondolas or the history. I came for football. Venezia FC is unlike any other club in Italy.but in the world.  Rooted in one of the world’s most iconic cities, it has carved out a distinct identity that blends football, water, and fashion. From the stadium that is on a lagoon only accessible by boat to the  emerald and orange colours and  winged Lion of St. Mark emblazoned on their crest, every detail tells the story of a club like no other.

Perhaps nowhere is that identity more visible than in their kits. Over the past few seasons, Venezia’s shirts have made waves far beyond the pitch, praised by fashion critics and football purists alike. They are more than just sportswear  they’re wearable tributes to Venetian culture, combining elegance and edge in a way that mirrors the city itself. On matchdays, the sea of emerald, orange, and black isn’t just a display of loyalty; it’s a living, moving art installation.

The past year has been a whirlwind for Venezia. From the soaring highs of a long-awaited promotion back to Serie A, to the sting of relegation and the uncertainty of a club fighting to re-establish itself, they have shown remarkable resilience. Much like the tides that surround the city, their fortunes have risen and fallen but their identity, style, and connection to their home have remained, like Venice itself, unsinkable.

I felt this when I was in the heart of the curva sud with the  Brigate Lagunare. Even in defeat  a 2-0 loss to Atalanta that day  their singing and chanting never stopped. The kits on their backs shimmered under the stadium lights, a reminder that in Venezia, football is as much about beauty and belonging as it is about results
